The Gas House Gorillas  Remember those hoodlum friends you had when you were a teenager? Remember the way they used to hang out down by the drugstore in their zoot suits, snapping their fingers and acting too cool for school? Well, they grew up to be the Gas House Gorillas.

This primo jump blues band has it all: an amazing rhythm section, awesome sax playing, fabulous guitar, a killer front man, and fantastic songs. And more than all that, these guys have the ability to cross over from jump blues to swing to rock and back again, often within the same track.

Formed in 2002, the Gas House Gorillas — whose name was inspired by a Bugs Bunny cartoon — draws from the well of such greats as Wynonie Harris, Gene Autry, Sam Cooke, Cab Calloway and Elvis Presley.

The band, currently comprising  Rick Fink on Vocals, guitarist Hiro Suzuki, drummer Dan Hickey, upright bassist Crusher Carmean and saxophonist Tim Veeder, released its latest full-length, "Five Gorillas Walk Into a Bar . . ." earlier this year.

The Koffin Kats Call them what you want. Punk? Rock? Psychobilly? Or just plain wrong. The Koffin Kats don’t even know what to consider themselves but firmly believe in the spirit of Rock n’ Roll and all of its excess and beautiful evil. Having influences ranging from bands such as Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, The Quakes, Tom Waits, and Bad religion. The sound is everything but normal.

Detroit, Michigan in June of 2003 marked the arrival of this band laying down the material that would become the upright bass throwing, beer slamming, blood gushing, and sonic assault known as The Koffin Kats. They had songs that resided around thumping upright bass and wild distorted guitar with lyrics of drug use, self loathing, and all things evil.

By the end of November 2003 The Koffin Kats had recorded their first album, 8 songs and self titled, it's a departure from what the band would become musically and stylistically but still holds the sound of the Koffin Kats. Wondering what the change is? Well...They have only gotten faster, stronger and smarter with the songs these days!

Devil Sits Shotgun has been writing and performing original hard edged Rockabilly for less than a year. In that short time period they have played every bar and club worth playing from NY to New Jersey and wrote and produced an amazing album named Voices of the Dead. The tracks included on their new CD speak for themselves. I am sure you will agree that there are bands that have been around much longer that do not sound nearly as tight and polished as Devil Sits Shotgun. Aside from the amazing sound, this band puts on a show that would please just about any crowd.

The members of Devil Sits Shotgun have already made their mark on the scene with their melodic, upbeat, Punk-Rockabilly influenced sound grinding out soon to be classics like 'Flower Cart', 'Runs Red', 'Pain', and 'The Fallen'. In a short time the band has developed a loyal following that continues to grow day by day.

Devil Sits Shotgun is a  four piece band that draws their influences from old school rock and roll and blues, while mixing Punk/NYHC attitude and aggression to forge a sound that not only pleases a crowd, but will stick in your head and have you singing them in the shower. As for their stage show, they are second to none.

Devil Sits Shotgun  is:
BrianSwane AKA Baldie on Rhythm Guitar & Vocals

Larry (Shotgun) Salzano on Standup Bass
Charley on Guitar
Joe Welter on Drums & Vocals

Don't be fooled by cheap imitations or cover bands, this Band is the real deal, featuring all original songs from their new release on Ball and Chain Records “Voices of the Dead” & they are coming to your town bringing their signature sound with them.
